2009-2010 Ford F650 – F750 Exterior Door Handle Loose

If you encounter a 2009 – 2010 F650 – F750 with a loose exterior door handle, it is not necessary to replace the door handle assembly. Inspect the pivot pin that keeps the door handle in place for proper seating/ position. Remove the handle assembly and insure the pin head is inserted past the triangle retention bumps. If necessary, fully seat the pivot pin so the pin head rests on the bezel hard stop. Cycle the handle to ensure proper operation prior to reinstallation. Refer to WSM Section 501-14.
