Auto Repair 2007 Honda Ridgeline Rear Bumper Removal/Installation
NOTE: Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the rear bumper . Be careful not to scratch the rear bumper and body . Wearing gloves to protect your hands . 1 . Remove this item : rear lights , two rear side plate 2 . Remove the rear bumper ( A ) . Remove the screw ( B ) . From the taillight area , remove the screws ( C ) and clip ( D ) . From the bottom of the bumper , remove the clip ( E ) . Remove the screws ( F , G ) , then pull the outer wheel arch bumper to bumper release of the hook ( H ) on the spacer side ( I) . 5 . With the help of an assistant , pull the rear bumper to release the hooks ( A ) of the upper beam ( K ) . 1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . 6 . Unplug the rear license light ( L ) . 7 . Remove the rear bumper absorbers ( M ) . 3 . Install the bumper in the reverse order of deletion , and note these items : Make sure the rear license light connector is installed correctly . Make sure the hooks engage the rear bumper ( on the top and both sides of the beam spacers ) on each side of the safe . Check if the clip is damaged or stress- whitened , if necessary , replace it with a new one . Push the clips and hooks into place securely.
