download
Some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the on-center steering feel on the 2009 – 2010 model year Corolla vehicles. A re-tuned Power Steering Computer Assembly has been developed to provide an alternative steering feel for these customers. Repair Procedure 1. Test drive the vehicle to confirm the customer’s complaint. 2. Check for correct tire pressure on all four wheels and adjust per the tire pressure label located on the driver’s door. NOTICE Low or high tire pressure will affect on-center feel. 3. Confirm that the vehicle does not have a pulling condition. If a pull is felt to either side, diagnose and repair the condition. Refer to TSB No. T-SB-0391-08, “Repair Manual Supplement: Vehicle Pulling to One Side”.
